When you host a website on a server, it employs the server's shared IP address - an exclusive number that's used to identify any device connected to the Net. The website name that you use for the site is for quick access and convenience of the site visitors, but on a more basic level, their Internet browser connects to the IP address of the server. Because there're many more websites than IP addresses, shared website hosting servers use the very same IP for a number of sites even in case they are owned by separate users. Even though this doesn't affect your site performance directly, using a dedicated IP can slightly improve the loading speed of a particular site, granting it superior rankings in search engine results. Such an IP is essential for the setup of an SSL certificate too, so when you would like to protect the payment or login details that your website visitors enter, you'll need an IP along with the SSL.

Dedicated IP Address in Cloud Hosting

When you use any of our cloud hosting packages, you will be able to add a dedicated IP to your account without difficulty and assign it to any domain or subdomain with no more than a few clicks. This is valid no matter which data center you've selected for your account throughout the registration process, therefore you can use this feature in our US, UK and AU facilities. This way, you can have a dedicated IP for an electronic commerce website, for example, while a forum attached to it can use the server's shared IP because you can edit each domain or subdomain individually through the Hosted Domains part of your Hepsia Control Panel. If you need a dedicated IP for an SSL certificate and you obtain the SSL from our company, you can use the auto-configuration instrument, that will assign an IP and install the SSL automatically for the site where you want to use them.

Dedicated IP Address in Semi-dedicated Servers

With just a couple of clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel, you will be able to add one or multiple dedicated IP addresses to your Linux semi-dedicated server and assign them to your websites. The Hosted Domains part of Hepsia will allow you to see the available IP addresses and to keep track of those that are in use with ease. If you wish to get a new IP for an SSL certificate, you'll be able to use the auto-configuration function, that's available in our SSL order wizard. When you activate this feature, you won't need to do anything after you post your order since our system will request a dedicated IP, assign it to the domain or subdomain involved, and then add the SSL certificate - all of this automatically and without any action on your end. This way, you are able to shield the information that visitors submit on your site even if you do not have any previous experience with this kind of matters.

Dedicated IP Address in VPS Servers

All Linux VPS servers that we supply include a dedicated IP address, so you won't share your IP with some other client with a different account on the same server. If you select a web hosting Control Panel for the server during the registration process, you will get one more dedicated IP too and you'll be able to use it for any content that you host on the VPS - an Internet site, an application, an SSL certificate, a VOIP server, and so on. In case you need more IPs, you'll be able to order them as an extra upgrade from your billing Control Panel and they will be assigned to your server very quickly. You will be able to manage your IPs without any difficulty via your website hosting Control Panel and the virtualization admin panel that you'll receive to command the virtual machine.

Dedicated IP Address in Dedicated Servers

Considering that you are able to run pretty much anything on a dedicated server, all of our plans feature three dedicated IP addresses included by default. In case you wish to launch some server software or to set up an SSL certificate for a website that you host on the machine, you will be able to use the IPs that we provide absolutely free. You can also register child name servers with one or two of the IP addresses for any website name that you've registered through us or elsewhere and employ them to direct other domains to the dedicated server. If you have a website hosting company, for example, the aforementioned option will contribute to your credibility as a standalone supplier. If you need more IPs than the three the packages include, you're able to get extra ones in increments of three either during the registration process or from your billing Control Panel at any time.
